Featured Scholarship Recipients

Central to Simply Smiles Children’s Villages is our focus on education. As the children in our care learn the power and possibility of education, youth often choose to pursue higher education or vocational training and can remain living at the village while working toward their degrees or certifications.

Lucero, nursing

You believed in me...you never withdrew your great support and friendship...you have convinced me that nothing is impossible. The feeling I wish to convey to you is the most sincere gratitude.
— Lucero, licensed nurse, Class of 2018-2022

Jennifer, business administration

Before coming to live at the Simply Smiles Children's Village, Jennifer lived in a remote village where she had to walk two hours a day to attend the nearest elementary school.

Today, she is attending the University Mesoamericana in Oaxaca City, where she is working toward a degree in Business Administration.

The above featured recipients are adults who provided expressed permission to Simply Smiles to use their names and likenesses on our website.
