simply smiles at a glance:

who we are & what we do:

Simply Smiles, Inc is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization whose children’s village model is redefining how society’s most vulnerable children are cared for

Simply Smiles builds villages of foster homes where children are raised by families in strong intentional communities.

Simply Smiles works in Oaxaca, Mexico at its Children’s Village, and we recently built a first-of-its-kind model for Native children on the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota, which is now owned by the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe.

Simply Smiles recognizes the strength that is born from overcoming adversity, and it nurtures children to become adults who are driven and prepared to fulfill their dreams and to help better society—for us all.

Volunteer information

On-the-ground volunteer efforts were instrumental in getting us to where we are now and formed a cornerstone for what we have built in Mexico and on the Reservation. But, based on our current program needs, it is unlikely that we’ll offer volunteer opportunities anytime soon. As Simply Smiles expands and our needs change, we look forward to exploring how we can implement and provide meaningful volunteer opportunities again.

If you are interested in joining the thousands of amazing people who have volunteered with Simply Smiles, we encourage you to to sign up for Volunteer Updates below and you’ll be the first to know when/if Simply Smiles volunteer experiences become available again. Thank you! Learn more and sign up for our volunteer updates.
