Ambrosio Family Receiving Their Food
From boiling leaves in order to feel like there is food in your stomach to proper meals…
This is the impact of our Food Distribution Fiestas.

Here is the Ambrosio Family registering to receive food for the very first time. Seated at the table is Juan Carlos Hernandez, our Director of Oaxacan Operations. Juan was born in this mountain region where he is now running our Village Project.

The family received food that can last a month. On 10/30/09 they received oil, rice, beans, sugar, salt, candy, and soap.

This is our favorite photo from the fiesta. As her father carries away real food for them to eat, his daughter in the background has an ear-to-ear smile.

- Here is the Ambrosio Family enjoying a hearty meal of Pozole, a type of traditional chicken stew.
