Carol and Francisco Marin, Co-Directors of The Casa Hogar Benito Juarez Children's Home

Our inaugural project, The Casa Hogar Children’s Home in Oaxaca City has become the nucleus, and the model, for our initiatives in Mexico. Presently home to nearly eighty children, Simply Smiles has helped Casa Hogar transform into a true oasis for the region’s impoverished children.

Directed by Carol and Francisco Marin, Casa Hogar raises children as a family, providing everything that a child needs to develop physically, mentally, and spiritually. When an individual in our care is ready to leave Casa Hogar, they have acquired the skills needed to lead independent, successful lives.

Unique among children’s homes in Latin America, Casa Hogar has no age maximums, has a focus on children with special needs, and provides education at any level through scholarships provided by Simply Smiles.
