Fill The Bus
We’re driving a big yellow school bus full of donations to South Dakota!
The first project Simply Smiles ever took on was back in 2003 when we bought a school bus, filled it with in-kind donations, and drove it from Connecticut to Oaxaca, Mexico for the children of Casa Hogar. (See photos of the Original Bus Trip)
Well, we are doing it again! This time for the benefit of the children on the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota.
Here is The Info:
Who? The bus and all of the donations will be used to support the Boys and Girls Clubs on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation.
What? We are going to fill every inch of a huge school bus with donations. Warms clothes, boots, toys, school supplies… Download the info and needed items list here.
When? Three of our most compassionate supporters will be driving the bus and its contents to South Dakota around Memorial Day Weekend, 2010.
Where? From Westport, Connecticut to Eagle Butte, South Dakota!
Why? Because the children on the reservation need these items desperately. Many endure the South Dakota winter without proper coats… The bus will be a miracle delivered!
