Our second children's home for Oaxaca's impoverished children was launched in January 2007 in response to the immense poverty in the northern region of Oaxaca. Within a matter of weeks there were eight children in our care with a dozen more on a waiting list. The beautiful girl in this photo is Tabita, the very first child to be helped by Casa Hogar Cuicatlan. Untreated spina bifida almost killed her. She was given a life saving brain surgery and is now a healthy, happy, little girl. It was a miracle her mother found us. We need your help to meet the needs of the children of Casa Hogar Cuicatlan.
