Music gathers us together in powerful ways. It moves us, it reveals our interconnectivity. When we gather around music for an even greater purpose, incredible things can happen. On November 13th, three inspirational artists will use their music to raise support for the Lakota community that Simply Smiles supports on the Cheyenne River Reservation in South Dakota. It's an evening you will not want to miss.
Peter Yarrow was one-third of the world-famous folk music group, Peter, Paul and Mary. Peter co-wrote hits like Puff the Magic Dragon. He is a social and political activist as well as a friend of Simply Smiles.
Kristen Graves is a singer / songwriter and humanitarian who was called the "next generation of folk music" in the New York Times and was honored with her own day in the state of Connecticut.
